Recorded Transience

"While sitting in front of a failed storefront in lower Manhattan, I pictured in my head what the last year on that bench would look like as a photograph. At any one moment, it would appear as a straight photograph would, but the entire year would end up being something entirely different. The conglomeration of foot traffic, the repeating sight of the owners, the shifting of colors from day to night. It became a 4th dimensional picture existing outside of any one sliver of time. With these photographs, I am exploring this same amalgamation using the human body and common artifacts viewed from a perspective outside of time. Each photo is without fabrication. They show only what could have been personally observed if we were able to see multiple moments at once, as if a atemporal fly on the wall."
